Always stay focused; smile and be positive; communicate with good eye contact; use sign language if it helps, but stay together as a team.
TEAMWORK is so much fun and leads to great success. Some people may not understand your methods, but if they work...stick with them. haha

It is important to eat a balanced diet and stay nutritionally fit. Bananas are always a favorite. :D
Even during "down time", it is nice to show your cohesiveness as a group. Sit together, chat about life, or just maybe the other teams outfits...and share some observations while watching your future or past opponents.
Giggle, cuddle..whatever it takes to bond and learn to become one.
Stay relaxed as much as possible and help each other to stay loose.

Doing a little jig in the middle of a match can sometimes get the juices flying too.
Make sure to text message all your friends about our success and watch the comments of appreciation come flowing back. Share them with each other.
Bring your family to all of our matches. Little cheerleaders are especially welcome.
Most importantly, get your rest....even if it has to come between matches while using teammates as your pillows. That just builds even more comraderie.
Remember too, no matter what the outcome might be, your parents will always be supporting you. Some may be amused by your performance, others may question how it happened, while still others will just keep their emotion in tact and just enjoy the moment. It's your guess how your parent will handle all of this fun.
Hall Ball" Quotes...

"Confidence doesn't come out of nowhere. It's a result of something... hours and days and weeks and years of constant work and dedication.
Roger Staubach

 Samurai Player Expectations from Mike:

Never give up. People who won't quit, don't.

Act mentally tough. Don't panic, and break under pressure.

Always have a positive attitude. I can't stand negative people!

Don't make excuses. Learn to accept responsibility for your actions.

Work hard at practice. This is the time you earn the right to play for a National Championship!

...the pain of discipline or the pain of regret?
REMINDER to team: Pain is temporary  (unless Mike is your coach ;-)) but oh baby we love the burn...(taken from Kim's profile)

"I'm not in competition with anybody but myself.  My goal is to beat my last performance."

"I will overcome, overpower and overturn all obstacles.  I will not let anyone or anything impact my attitude.  I will stay committed to my goals.  I will check, recheck, balance and counter balance, measure and be measured to the highest standard of excellence.  I will not give up, give in or give place to the fear of defeat.  I will never forget who I am, why I am here and where I am going.  I will not let anyone or anything steal my joy.  I will leave everything I have on the court and walk off a winner every time
